Meet your inspector
My name is Tyson Zimmel and I am the owner and operator of Zimmel Home Inspections. For over fifteen years, I have been building, purchasing, and renovating homes in the Pacific Northwest. I have lived in Clallam County my entire life and have extensive knowledge of problems that can affect homes in our area. I inspect a home as if I am buying it myself, paying close attention to possible costly repairs. I take pride that when my clients leave the home inspection, they have a full understanding of their investment.
My goal is to build long-term relationships with my clients by being available for any questions and re-inspections after any found problems have been resolved.
Zimmel Home Inspections utilizes the newest diagnostic tools during inspections, including infrared technology.

Pest Inspection
As a certified pest inspector, I will examine the home for any present or past signs of wood destroying organisms and rodents. I am trained in identification of pests, detecting conditions conducive to pest infestations, and management recommendations.
Sewer Scope
A sewer scope is a type of inspection where a scope (camera) is attached to the end of a reel and travels down the sewer line from the house out to the sewer main. When buying a house, it’s important to inspect that line in almost every scenario, especially with older houses in our area. A homeowner is responsible to maintain the line from the home to the sewer main. Defects such as tree root intrusion and broken or deteriorated pipes can cause issues resulting in costly repairs. Even in newer construction homes, heavy equipment can crush sewer lines during building and connection joints can fail.
